Location: Nationwide, with a preference for either of our offices, Philadelphia or San Francisco Bay Area

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience managing the implementation of CRM projects. As a Project Manager, you must have strong leadership and motivational skills to direct the project team effectively and to drive implementation both creatively and efficiently. You will report to the Director of Project Management Services and work closely with the client and internal teams. The Project Manager will be a key member of the Implementation Team and will be responsible and accountable for the successful implementation of multiple TargetX CRM solutions for colleges and universities.
Serve as the Customer’s primary point of contact for active implementation engagements
Ability to calmly and confidently handle conflicts and escalations while earning the trust and confidence of your customers.
Obtain a clear understanding of the client business process, needs, and requirements
Establish the project's overall critical path and success factors, develop a project plan, and ensure that all project phases adhere to the agreed-upon timeline
Managing projects to the defined scope and setting expectations accordingly for both customer and TargetX resources.
Monitor the execution of all deliverables and milestones across projects and update project plans actively
Manage internal and external resources and ensure that the project team has the necessary information and skill sets to complete the project successfully and on-time
Prioritize, mitigate and monitor project risks and their impact
Assist project team in troubleshooting and finding solutions to unforeseen issues
Communicate regularly with and manage the expectations of clients, stakeholders, and team members
Taking ownership of, manage and obtain approvals for all change requests, particularly regarding scope and budget in partnership with the Account Executive
Leverage and help develop standard tools to manage the project - i.e. project plan, risk log, status report, etc.
GOALS & OBJECTIVES FOR THE ROLE
The top objective of this position is to ensure that our clients experience a successful CRM implementation. The person in this role will be successful if:
CRM projects are implemented on-time and within defined scope
Clients are satisfied with the implementation and feel supported throughout the process
CRM is being used strategically and actively by the client team
Accurate tracking of resource workload, analyzing actual effort vs. budgeted effort, and estimates to complete (effort and duration)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
1 to 3 years of relevant project management experience
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional internal and client teams
Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively
Experience using project management tools (e.g., Clarizen, MS-Project)
Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
Relevant experience in higher education highly desired
Highest personal and professional values that are aligned with the TargetX fundamentals
Strong understanding of business software, including CRM and Microsoft Office/Google Docs. Salesforce familiarity preferred
